Typical duties may include:

  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments
  • Supporting individuals to access the community, attend classes/hobbies, meet friends, go shopping etc.
  • Encouraging independence
  • Medication administration and recording
  • Nutritionalsupport and meal preparation
  • Household duties
  • Assistance with personal care needs (washing, bathing, dressing, oral care, toiletingetc.)
  • Assistance with mobility (use of hoist, standing aids etc.)
  • Companionship
  • Safeguarding and ensuring a high standard of wellbeing
